For total leakproof reliability from vacuum to 6000 psi in liquid or gas service, including hydrogen and helium, look no further.  Mark VIII O-SEAL tube fittings are based on two flat-faced components joined by a union nut.  On the body side there is a resilient O-ring in a close tolerance groove.  This CPV O-SEAL design means Mark VIII separable tube fittings offer positive low torque bubble tight sealing and maximum resistance to extreme vibration or sudden pressure surges in the line.
