	Reliability is an absolute requirement in handling high pressure gasses for both pure gas and mixed bottle filling. Long term durability is critical for the hydraulic systems in steel mills and other heavy industries. To achieve field tested and proven reliability in gas or liquid applications, choose FloMaster air operated valve from CPV. *Slip in - Slip out* FloMaster's flat faced union end connections makes for easy "slip in--slip out" access, and the O-ring seal provides a leakproof installation. Soft Seat The rugged, proven soft seat of FloMaster valves will provide years of service and thousands of bubble tight shut offs. Cartridge Design The FloMaster valve is cartridge designed so that inspection and repair at regular maintenance periods requires minimum downtime. Pressure drop data for CPV FloMaster Valves. CPV has conducted extensive flow tests with O-Seal system valves and has established flow constants as C_v factors for each size valve. The C_v is defined as the gallons of water in a one minute period that will flow through a valve in the full open position, creating a pressure drop of 1 psi. The pressure drop, or (delta)P for liquids, can be calculated by using formula #1 and inserting the proper specific gravity. The pressure drop for gases can be calculated by using formula #2 and inserting the proper specific grafity for the gas.
