O-Seal Union Connection (Pipe Systems)
G-Series valves can be supplied complete with CPV O-Seal union nuts and tailpieces. Consult CPV for further assistance. The flat face connection provides easy slip-in, slip-out access. This makes it possible to install, remove, rotate or reposition any piping section or component without springing or cutting the line. Each end fitting (tailpiece) has a resilient O-ring recessed in a close tolerance groove that provides sealing between the two mating faces. Only light wrenching is required to accomplish a perfect leakproof seal. The higher the pressure, the tighter the seal. Other materials, end fittings and types of connections are available.
