Mark VIII Union Connection (Tube Systems)
G-Series valves coupled with the integrity of Mark VIII O-Seal tube fittings give a whole new meaning to the phrase "total leakproof reliability". The design incorporates an O-ring recessed into a precision groove located in each end of the valve body that seals against mating flat faced fittings (tailpieces). The flat face connection provides easy slip-in, slip-out access. Light wrenching completes the installation to assure a leakproof connection that will not vibrate loose. Internal line pressure actually contributes to sealing effectiveness. Each valve can be supplied with stainless steel union nuts and tailpieces for socket welding or brazing.
