A CPV O-SEAL Relief Valve can be furnished with any desired pressure setting up to 6000 psi. The table below is presented for your convenience in determining which orifice diameter is best-suited for your particular system capacity requirements.

• Discharge capacities are computed for set pressure plus accumulation (or overpressure) shown above wtlh air and water at ambient conditions.
When ordering, please state service, including name of fluid, pressure setting, fluid temperature and orifice diameter desired.
When ordering, be sure to include Union Nuts, Catalog No. 5 ON
and proper tailpieces;
inlet connection — ½ inch pipe size (—3 size)
discharge connection — 1 ¼ inch pipe size (—6 size)

All CPV O-SEAL Relief Valves are factory set to specified pressure and tested with high pressure air to assure tight seating and dependable operation.

The 157A is a direct replacement for existing piping systems utilizing 157 or 157A Relief Valves.
Our latest version of this positive re-seating valve is Relief Valve – 158. The 158 is designed to be a smaller, lighter and is recommended for new systems. Information on the 158 Relief Valve can be found on page # 19 of our O-Seal System Catalog 68.
